Introducing the microSyncTHR
The new microSyncTHR introduces the integrated OLED display known from the microSyncRX, microSyncTRX , and microSyncXS systems to the microSyncHR form factor for the first time. The display is positioned on the front of the device, allowing the cable connections to be hidden from view to the rear while reliable status readouts and the ability to perform the initial setup process are accessible from the front.
The microSyncTHR otherwise offers the same compelling feature set as the microSyncHR before it:
- Four network interfaces, two of which are fully PTP-capable network ports operable either in timeTransmitter (Master) or timeReceiver (Slave) mode, allowing it to operate as a high-accuracy grandmaster, boundary clock, or ordinary clock, with full support for practically every published PTP profile.
- Powerful NTP server capability.
- A wealth of clock signal outputs, including a programmable clock signal generator that can produce pulse-per-second, 10 MHz frequency, and more.
Powered by Meinberg's leading synchronization-centric meinbergOS operating system, the microSyncTHR offers up the same security and flexibility that the microSync family is known for. These include the new features introduced in the latest meinbergOS versions, specifically LDAP, TACACS+, and RADIUS authentication, native PRP for NTP and PTP traffic, industry-specific network functionality such as IEC 61850 MMS support, detailed analysis features for GNSS reception and clock performance, and also a fully integrated version of Meinberg's PTP monitoring solution, PTP Track Hound.
