SDU/EFB/MP: Signal Distributor Unit for E1 / T1 Telecom Signals

The SDU/EFB signal distributor unit is a signal diplexer that allows to connect up to 24 devices to one E1/T1 sync output. This is a very compact and cost effective way to increase the number of E1/T1 ports available for synchronizing telecom switches and multiplexer as well as other devices that require a 1.544 or 2.048 MBit/s reference.

Product Description

The SDU/EFB chassis is a rackmount, 1RU metal housing and can be ordered in two different versions supporting either 120 Ohm balanced input/output RJ45 connectors or 75 Ohm unbalanced BNC connectors. The SSM/TOC information is forwarded without modification to the output ports.

An alarm relay contact and a LED signals the loss of the input signal or a failure of the system. Both 20-60 V DC and 100-240 V AC/DC power supply options are avaible.

The SDU/EFB chassis supports up to two power modules in a redundant power solution.
