New LANTIME Firmware Version 6.24.022 is available now

As of now, the LANTIME firmware version 6.24.022 is available for our customers, including an OpenSSH update to 8.0_P1 and security patches to fix the TCP-SACK vulnerability.

The Meinberg firmware concept is based on innovative solutions that meet the current and future synchronization requirements of modern networks. Within the framework of this concept, Meinberg is constantly working on improving the firmware of its products.

Even without a paid support contract, Meinberg customers receive updates for their installed systems that include new features and protocols as well as improvements in the area of security. This allows Meinberg products to be kept up to date over a very long period of time.

As of now, the update is available for Meinberg customers. It is recommended to update the LANTIME firmware to 6.24.022.

Included in the update are security patches to fix the TCP-SACK vulnerability (CVE-2019-11477, CVE-2019-11478, CVE-2019-11479). In addition, OpenSSH has been updated to 8.0_P1. All other changes can be found in our changelog.

The latest firmware update package is compatible with Meinberg LANTIME M-Series products and our SyncFire servers.
