Visit Meinberg at the WSTS 2016 in San Jose, California

Meinberg will participate in the 25th Annual Workshop on Synchronization and Timing Systems (WSTS) from June 13 to June 16, 2016 at the Double Tree by Hilton in San Jose, California.

Bad Pyrmont, June 10, 2016 - Meinberg manufacturer of the world's most powerful time and frequency synchronization solutions will attend the WSTS with its US distributor JTime! Meinberg.

The WSTS 2016 sponsored by NIST and ATIS, is a vendor-neutral technology workshop that will address evolving sync requirements, as well as the roll-out of new sync systems and standards, and how this affects network operators and equipment manufacturers.

Please visit the WSTS 2016 website for more information:

Meinberg will provide a Technology Demonstration titled, "ITU Telecom Profiles and Sync Using Meinberg Grand Masters, Boundary Clocks and Slaves". Key points of the demonstration include the implementation and synchronization measurement of the standard Telecom profiles G.8265.1 Telecom Frequency Profile, G.8275.1 Telecom Phase/Time profile (including SyncE) and basic G8275.2 support as that profile has not yet been finalized in the ITU.

Meinberg's next generation high precision HPS-100, IEEE1588 time stamping module will be showcased demonstrating the sheer power of supporting thousands of Telecom clients with a single module and the PTP270PEX slot card acting as an IEEE 1588 slave ordinary clock in a conventional rack mounted server.

In addition, our Meinberg sync expert Dr. Douglas Arnold, a co-chair of the IEEE 1588 working group will be presenting at WSTS about the topic "Security Threats and Mitigation in PTP Networks". He will also inform the audience about the current state of the IEEE 1588 specification.
