Visit Meinberg at the IBC 2017 - the World's Leading Media, Entertainment & Technology Show


Bad Pyrmont, September 12, 2017 - IP is no longer a "future" - it's here and now. Meinberg equipment plays a vital role in the transition from legacy SDI systems to a virtualized, IP-based environment.

Since 1967, the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) has grown to become the most influential annual event for professionals engaged in the creation, management and delivery of electronic media, worldwide.

As an AIMS member Meinberg will participate in the IBC IP Showcase. Meinberg devices will also be used in interop demos on other vendor stands. Additionally there will be several product demonstrations at the Meinberg booth #8.B25, Hall 8.

Our presentation at IBC2017 will include:

  • Sync in SMPTE ST 2110 All-IP infrastructures, which use the PTP profile SMPTE ST 2059-2
  • Interoperability demonstrations with other vendors like Arista, Utah Scientific, Oregano, AJA Video Systems and Ward-Beck Systems
  • Product demonstrations of the LANTIME M1000 and LANTIME M3000 which can easily be integrated in hybrid SDI/IP environments, as well as in All-IP scenarios
  • A PTP demo will show and explain the functionality and the performance of PTP to the visitors
