SyncFire 1200 - High Performance NTP Time Server

Meinberg is excited to announce the launch of its latest generation of high performance NTP appliances - the SyncFire 1200, designed for data center environments and synchronizing hundreds of thousands of NTP or SNTP clients.

The SyncFire 1200 is a powerful and reliable NTP Time Server offering the great features and reliability of Meinberg LANTIME products in a 1U server chassis with unprecedented power. The redundant, hot-pluggable power supplies and system fans ensure a 24/7 operation. The ability to add a second GPS or a combined GPS/GLONASS/Galileo/BeiDou receiver as a redundant reference time source and the capability to create redundant network links by assigning multiple LAN interfaces to a high availability bonding group provide an unmatched level of reliability.

The new SyncFire 1200 comes with an AMD® EPYC® 7262 (8 core/16 threads, 3.2 GHz) CPU. The standard configuration offers four Gigabit interfaces, 10G and 10/25G interfaces are available as an option. Additional interface cards can increase the number of physical interfaces to a maximum of 12x1G or 6x10G to accommodate even the most demanding network requirements. Together with the LTOS virtual interface feature, allowing to configure up to 99 virtual interfaces with IPv4/IPv6 and VLAN support, this NTP appliance fits into almost any network infrastructure.
