Solarflare's 10GbE PTP Server Adapter Successfully Tested for Interoperability

Solarflare tested its SFN5322F Onload PTP server adapter with Meinberg's LANTIME M600 GPS Grandmasters, which included the testing of network infrastructure switches commonly deployed in Solarflare's customer networks.In its testing, Solarflare consistently measured PTP master-to-slave server offsets significantly below 1 microsecond.

Solarflare’s SFN5322F is targeted at customers that need high-performance, ultra-low latency 10GbE and clock synchronization. This includes financial services networks and distributed computing. With Solarflare’s SFN5322F, customers no longer need to deploy a separate time synchronization network, because time synchronization is now able to operate over the ultra-low latency 10GbE data network.
