The SyncFire 1000 is based on a 1U Fujitsu rack server and provides redundant power supplies and system fans, which ensure 24/7 operation, 365 days a year, with minimal or zero downtime for repair in the event of a hardware failure. An unmatched level of reliability is provided by both the ability to add a second GPS receiver for a redundant reference time source and the capability to form redundant network links by assigning multiple LAN interfaces to a high availability bonding group.
