Product Announcement: New IRIG Slotcard with PCI Express Bus interface - TCR170PEX

Meinberg Radio Clocks today announced the availability of the PCI Express version of the successful TCR167PCI card, a combined IRIG reader and generator device. The new TCR170PEX card can be installed in the latest generation of computer systems (with a free 1x PCI Express slot) and enables the user to receive/check an incoming IRIG/AFNOR signal and at the same time generate the same or a completely different IRIG signal for other IRIG synchronized devices.

The input and output signals can be configured independently and this allows to use the card not only for synchronizing the system time of the host PC but also allows to deploy this product as a signal converter between two different IRIG signals.

The new IRIG slot card can be ordered with fiber optic input and/or output connectors instead of the standard BNC connectors, this allows to use optical connections for feeding and generating unmodulated (DCLS) IRIG signals.

The TCR170PEX is already supported by the current version of Meinbergs driver kits for Windows, Linux and other operating systems.
