Product Announcement: GPS Receiver for PCI Express (PCIe)

Following the successful start of the PCIe variants of Meinbergs DCF77 receiver (PEX511) and the IRIG Time Code receiver (TCR511PEX), the leading manufacturer of time and frequency synchronization equipment today announces the general availability of the new GPS170PEX, the Worlds First GPS Time Source for PCI Express Bus systems.

The new model is based on the PCI-X receiver (GPS170PCI) and provides highly accurate and reliably time synchronization for modern PC systems when they come with PCI Express slots only (or all PCI-X slots are already occupied).

The Single Driver Concept of Meinberg allows to use different time sync slot cards without having to change a single line of code - in most cases you even do not have to recompile your application.

The new slot card is detected starting with driver version 2.19 which is already available for download on our Download page.
