New stable Version of the free NTP Installer for Windows

The new version, named "fluxcap", installs a stable and reliable version of the reference implementation of NTP (from www.ntp.org) on any Windows machine running Microsoft Windows NT/2000/XP or 2003.

This free-of-charge time synchronization software keeps the system clock of a Windows PC within 10-40 miliseconds* of a NTP time server, for example a Meinberg LANTIME unit or any other standards compliant NTP server. Additionally it can turn the PC into a full featured NTP server itself and allows to synchronize other PCs.

Although only a small number of bug reports have been sent by the more than 16,000 end users that have downloaded the "xmas" Edition of the Meinberg installer, this stable version has been created to help those who experienced stability problems with "xmas" on their machines. "Fluxcap" is based on a 4.2.0a version of NTP and has been enhanced with a number of Windows-specific bugfixes to form a reliable and stable time synchronization software. The Windows Installer is ~ 1.70 MB large and can be downloaded from the Meinberg NTP download page (https://www.meinbergglobal.com/english/sw/ntp.htm).

* depending on the hard- and software configuration of the NTP client and its reference servers
