Meinberg stops all business activity in the Russian Federation and Belarus

In the light of the ongoing armed conflict in Ukraine, and in accordance with the decision of the European Union and the government of the Federal Republic of Germany, Meinberg has stopped all deliveries of products into the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus. All open orders are canceled or put on hold until the situation changes.

We know that this decision will negatively affect our Russian friends and business partners. We also know that our partners and friends in Russia cannot directly influence their government's choices. But the situation for our partners and friends in Ukraine is a lot more dramatic, and we hope that this attack on a sovereign state is stopped immediately to avoid further loss of life, injuries, and trauma.

No one at Meinberg expected that we would be in a situation again where we have to explain to our kids why human beings are doing this to other human beings. We hopefully see the end of this dramatic war very soon. In the meantime, we will support the people of Ukraine by donating to the official aid organizations operating in the war zone and helping Ukrainian refugees all over Europe.
