Bad Pyrmont, March 16, 2015 - Meinberg, one of the world's leading manufacturers of time and frequency synchronization equipment, is proud to announce the positive results of the EANTC Interoperability Testing that took place from February 2nd, 2015 to February 13th, 2015 in Berlin, Germany and would like to invite interested customers and business partners to visit the live interoperability showcase organized by EANTC in Paris, France.

Leading network infrastructure and synchronization equipment vendors will demonstrate interoperability of their solutions. EANTC's multi-vendor interoperability showcase is a tangible demonstration based on lab validated tests of the latest advances in MPLS, NFV and SDN technology. Cloud delivery and MPLS Core Simplification as well as the newest Synchronization technologies will be the major focus of the showcase with Ethernet VPNs, SDN Controller Southbound Interfaces, Segment Routing, BGP Flowspec and LTE Clock Synchronization Readiness.

The main focus of the clock synchronization part of this year's event is the LTE clock synchronization readiness for phase and time. It was very important for Meinberg to participate in the EANTC Interoperability Testing Event to guarantee interoperability of the new Meinberg solutions with the major mobile backhaul infrastructure vendors. The Meinberg product range includes a number of high performance telecommunication synchronization solutions. Meinberg's Intelligent Modular System (IMS) series consists of multiple chassis options for different form factors. The rackmount shelves can be combined with multiple modules offering features such as the Phase/Time Telecom Profile ITU-T G.8275.1, Assisted Partial Timing Support (APTS) for Edge Grandmaster functionality and Synchronous Ethernet.

Meinberg's telecom specific network synchronization solutions, the LANTIME M1000 and LANTIME M4000, have been successfully interoperated at the EANTC Event. They successfully interoperated in all test cases they took part in and were utilized in many test cases in a supporting role. The modularity and scalability of both products allow their use for different roles, such as PRC/PRTC or Edge Grandmaster. The M4000 is the ideal synchronization solution for telecommunication networks, all connectors and control elements of the M4000 are accessible from one side. The 4RU chassis can either be mounted in a 300mm ETSI rack or in a standard 19 inch IT rack.
