The "NTP Pool Project" is a recommended source for public NTP Servers and is being used by millions of systems around the world. The Time-Server-Cluster pool.ntp.org is constantly seeking new servers to be added to the pool, since the number of users is increasing permanently, while the total number of servers has been stagnating or even decreasing lately. Anyone who owns a server with a static IP address, which is always available on the internet, can participate. The required bandwidth is relatively low. Each client will only send a couple of UDP packets every few minutes.
