Meinberg is Gold Sponsor of the ISPCS 2009 in Brescia, Italy

As a long term member of the IEEE 1588/PTP Community, Meinberg is the Gold Sponsor of the most important PTP event in 2009. The ISPCS (International IEEE Symposium on Precision Clock Synchronization for Measurement, Control and Communication) will take place on October 12-16, 2009 in Brescia, Northern Italy.

The symposium, an annual event where researchers, vendors and end users meet to discuss and learn more about the Precision Time Protocol (PTP, standardized as IEEE 1588), will be split into two major parts.

The so-called Plug-Fest will be held on Monday and Tuesday and offers the vendors a perfect opportunity to test their PTP Grandmaster Clocks, Transparent Clocks/Boundary Clocks (both technologies are used in PTP network switches) as well as Ordinary Clocks. The tests help to prevent interoperability problems in end-user applications. The test results of this non-public event are presented in the second part of the symposium, together with numerous other presentations and lectures that cover a wide range of interesting PTP related topics.

If you are interested in attending the ISPCS 2009 and want to find out more about the program or registration, please check out the ISPCS website or contact Meinberg or your local Meinberg Partner.
