Meinberg Enters into Tri-Party Agreement with Septentrio and Fugro

Meinberg has initiated development of its new GXL clock technology, for which it has signed a tri-party cooperation agreement with GNSS receiver company Septentrio and geo-data specialist Fugro.

This partnership will see Fugro's innovative AtomiChronTM technology combined with Septentrio's new mosaic-T GNSS receivers integrated into Meinberg's industry-leading clock technology to raise the bar even further in terms of accuracy and security.

Development of new GNSS receiver technology

With four decades of synchronization & timing experience, Meinberg specializes in providing resilient and highly accurate time & frequency synchronization to clients with strict accuracy requirements—in particular the telecommunications, finance, broadcasting, and power industries.

The first groundbreaking, cutting-edge product to be born of this alliance will be the IMS-GXL module for Meinberg's trusted line of IMS LANTIME time servers, using Septentrio's and Fugro's technology to seamlessly provide high accuracy and integrated anti-spoofing detection via the AtomiChronTM service without the need for additional physical interfaces or separate antennas.
