IEEE 1588 Spring Plugfest in Lemgo, Germany

The Centrum Industrial IT (CIIT) will host the first "Spring Plugfest of the IEEE 1588 Standard and Technology Forum" from March 30 to April 2, 2011 in Lemgo, Germany. This plugfest will allow vendors and the scientific community to intensively test their IEEE 1588/PTP devices and implementations.

The event, supported by the Interoperability Lab of the University of New Hampshire (UNH-IOL) and Meinberg, is hosted by the Institute for Industrial IT (InIT) and the Fraunhofer IOSB-INA in Lemgo in cooperation with the IEEE and offers the participating companies and institutes a fantastic chance to test the interoperability, performance and standards conformance of their IEEE 1588 implementations.

The plugfest is a valuable addition to the regular annual IEEE 1588 plugfest, which is an integral part of the ISPCS. This year, the ISPCS is going to be hosted by the TU Munich.
