Extra Flexible Low-Loss Cable for GNSS Antennas

With the new Ultraflex-10 L1/E1/G1 GNSS coax cable distances up to 150m are now possible.

Bad Pyrmont, April 5, 2017 - Meinberg, a German manufacturer of the world's most powerful and versatile time and frequency synchronization equipment, announces today the availability of the Ultraflex-10/H2010, a 50-Ohm coax cable with exceptional electrical characteristics and flexibility.

Satellite transmitted signals are quite small when they arrive at the Earth’s surface (approx. -130 dBm). This low signal level requires careful handling to detect and extract the information necessary to ultimately provide precision references. The presence of interfering signals can be a significant issue, which makes high shielding abilities of the equipment used very important.

Therefore, Meinberg now also provides a high quality coaxial cable that offers, due to its specially braided wire structure, extremely low attenuation and allows distances up to max. 150m from the antenna. The extraordinary shielding reduces data interference and avoids quality loss. The outer protective shield is black and UV-resistant.
