End-of-Sales Announcements - GPS180 Subrack Module, GPS165, GNS165

The GPS165, GNS165, and GPS180 reference clocks are compact GNSS-synchronized reference clocks that provide a multitude of GNSS-synchronized clock outputs for industrial applications. The GPS165 and GNS165 is designed to be rack-mounted, while the GPS180 subrack module is designed for installation in a 19" subrack.

Meinberg has been compelled to end production of the GPS165 and GNS165 clocks due to the unexpected discontinuation of an essential component. The unavailability of this component has necessitated a fundamental re-design of the devices. As such, we are regretfully unable to offer any last-time buy opportunity.

Meinberg's engineers are currently hard at work on the re-designed product. While we cannot commit to a firm timeframe as to when these new products will become available, we expect to be able to make the first deliveries within 2–3 months.

As regards the GPS180 subrack module, which has been a trusted workhorse for many customers over many years, our decision to discontinue the product reflects the fact that most of our long-term customers have moved on to the much more advanced GPS-synchronized reference clocks Meinberg has developed in the intervening years. As such, demand for it has diminished to the point where we feel that our development capacities are better focused on innovating and enhancing our modern synchronization solutions.
