UCAIug 2017 IEC 61850 IOP in New Orleans
The UCA International Users Group is once again hosting an interoperability test for IEC 61850 devices. The objective of the test is to demonstrate interoperability between devices and also to focus on finding and addressing potential source of issues between devices.
This is the first time that this test is going to be held in the United States and provides an excellent opportunity for North American based utilities to attend and see firsthand the performance of IEC 61850 devices and their interoperability with other vendors’ products. If your company currently uses or plans to use IEC 61850 devices in the near future this is a perfect opportunity to see firsthand how well these devices perform and to learn about the technology from the people responsible for developing the standard and the products.
