An expansion shelf serves as a midpoint connection for additional LANTIME-CPUs with physically separated network interfaces.

Product Description

The LCES can be connected with a radio clock or a LANTIME NTP server of our M-Series (M300, M400, M600 and M900), which provides the serial time string and a PPS-signal from the reference device for the LCES system. The 3U chassis has enough space for a maximum configuration of four LAN CPUs with three LNE-4- expansions for each CPU, respectively or optionally eight CPUs with one LNE-4 expansion for each LAN-CPU.

Thereby the left and right CPU slots are always supplied by two redundant high efficient power supply modules. The CPU or the LNE- expansion slots can be ordered extra anytime to expand the system when necessary. Use the color codes below to show possible LCES configuration samples.

To ensure that the product is disposed of in a WEEE-compliant fashion, it can be returned to the manufacturer. Any transportation expenses for returning this product (at end-of-life) must be covered by the end user, while Meinberg will bear the costs for the waste disposal itself.
